What it does
If you have ever tried to fill a photobook page with several photos, you will know how slow it is: dragging pictures in one at a time, nudging them into line, and starting over when you change the page size. Mosaic Collage Maker does the arranging for you.
Point it at a folder of photos, choose the page size your photobook service asks for, and press Generate. It builds a mosaic layout for every page and uses all your photos — not just the first few — spreading them across as many pages as it takes.
Then everything stays editable. Move frames, swap photos, zoom and reposition each picture, add captions, change the margins. Nothing is locked in, and you never have to start again.
Made for photobooks, not screens
- No fixed grid. Each page is divided afresh, so frames vary in size and proportion and no two pages look alike — your photos are not poured into a repeating template.
- Any page size, in millimetres. Photobook services rarely use exact A4 or A3 — enter the size they actually specify and save it as a named preset.
- Margins, gaps and borders are real measurements. A 20 mm margin is 20 mm on the printed page, whatever your screen or window size.
- 300 DPI JPEG export, one file per page or the whole book as a ZIP, ready to upload to your printer.

Common questions
Does it just use preset grid templates?
No — there are no fixed templates or grids. Each page is built by repeatedly dividing the page, so frames come out in genuinely different sizes and proportions and no two pages look alike. If a particular page is not right, Reshuffle rebuilds just that one with a fresh arrangement, leaving the rest of your book untouched.
How do I fit lots of photos on one photobook page?
That is exactly what this does. Choose how many photos you want per page — a minimum and a maximum — and it builds a mosaic layout for each page automatically, with every photo placed.
Will it work with my photobook service?
Yes, provided you know the page size they want. Enter it in millimetres at 300 DPI and save it as a named size. The help guide lists sizes and margins tested with Photobox, Colorland, Printerpix and Mixbook — always order a test print first, as services do change their sizes.
Can I make a large collage or a banner?
Yes. A banner is simply a very wide page — enter the size you need and generate as normal.
Is it a subscription?
No. It is a one-off purchase from the Mac App Store or Microsoft Store. There is no account to create and no sign-in.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. It works entirely offline. Your photos never leave your computer — the app makes no network calls at all. See the privacy policy.
Can I reuse a design across several books?
Yes. Save a page design as a template — layout and branding but no photos — then generate a whole new book from it with a different set of photos.
